Did you hear about the bass that Paul caught?.... What is happening with the loons? Jane watched them in a courting ritual. Do you know who the Loon Whisperer is?..... Yesterday Sue saw the Marine Patrol out on the lake checking registrations.
Great stories and information come from some of my emails. Wouldn't it be great if these stories and discussions were shared with everyone? They could have been, if they had been posted on the LKWA Message Board.

Questions:
Do I have to be a member to the read messages? No, you only have to be a member to send messages.
Why do I have to become a member to send messages? To filter out spam. This is a public forum, anyone on the can read the messages but only those who are members can post a message. Keeps the Message Board from receiving unwanted junk mail.
How do I become a member?
You can join by going to the LKWA Message Board or you can type your email address in the box below.
How do I read and post messages? There are 2 ways to do this:
1. Web-based - View and post LKWA Messages at http://groups.google.com/group/lkwa
When you become a member
make sure that you select - No
Email. This means you will not receive any email
from the Message board to read, you have to read all the messages from
the LKWA Message Board.
If I select Web-based messaging, I will get no emails? That
is correct - no emails means no emails. Everything stays on the
LKWA Message Board. You read and write messages using Internet
Exporer, Firefox, Safari, etc.
2. Email based - Read and Receive LKWA MEssages from your email program (Outlook, Thunderbird,etc)
When you become a member
make sure that you select - Email
(Approximately 2 emails per day)
How do I send a message from my email program? Simply address your email to: lkwa@kanasatka.org.
Your message will appear on the LKWA Message board and any other
member (who has selected to receive emails) will get a copy.
If I chose to receive email, will I receive a lot of junk mail? No, you will receive email only from our elite group of members. No ousiders can see or access your personal email.
