Winter Fun on the Lake

In 2003 the McRaes host 39 Leos and 63 people at the 4th Annual Leonberger Sno-cial. 
 Everyone gathers on the lake to watch the Leos romp, pull sleds, ski or and xc ski

This bobhouse spent most of the winter out on the lake. It was frequently the source of family fun. Jon Tollman and Lance Packard built the bobhouse several years ago.

Ice Boats

Early in the season, before snow covered the ice, these ice boats sailed across the lake.

Snowmobiles

Snowmobile corridor 15 goes down the middle of Kanasatka.  Sleds race across the lake daily.  Weekends are especially busy.
